Calling Branson Lakes Area residents! Come join us at the Branson Airport for a special Armed Forces day celebration, as we take a look at STEM opportunities through the lens of aviation.

You will have the unique and rare opportunity to meet and speak with one of only 62 living Medal of Honor recipients, CSM (ret) and Tribute To Valor Foundation Chairman and Founder, Gary Littrell – a true American hero! Learn about the 6 core character values represented by the Medal of Honor and how you can apply them to everything you do. You’ll also get a chance to engage with Air Force Reserve and former United States Air Force Thunderbird pilot, Major Trevor Aldridge, call sign “Dozen”.

This will be an amazing opportunity for you to delve into the exciting world of STEM and aviation as you climb on board and get a closer look at many different civilian and military aircraft. Some of which include two Air Force C-130s, a Patriot and a Hiperbipe aerobatic plane. These are just a few of the many aircraft that will be available for you to explore. Questions and discussion will be welcome, as the air crews will be standing by to talk with you!

If robotics is more your thing, we’ve got you covered! Engage in other STEM activities and experience the wonderful world of robotics through demonstrations by FIRST Springfield. Think you have what it takes? Try your hand at navigating these robots yourself and learn how you can get involved in your community today.

Whether you’re a seasoned aviation enthusiast or just kicking the tires, wanting to learn more about STEM initiatives, this Expo has something for everyone!
